Dear New, Returning and Generational Members,
For 90 years, Shore Acres has been a place for families to gather, relax and make memories. Through the many decades of cultural evolution, our neighborhood has strived to preserve its traditions and deep sense of communal value. We hope our little corner of the world will continue to bring generations of people coming back.
We are SO excited to be adding anniversary activities to this year’s calendar, along with our much-loved traditional events. Your board has been hard at work planning activities and keeping up with the beautification/maintenance in the neighborhood and on our properties. This season I am looking forward to the exciting events we have planned, welcoming our new members, as well as seeing through a few projects that are currently in process.
As we all know, Shore Acres is a volunteer run organization. The Board currently has two seats open, with a few more opening in September. Without new volunteers, things will unfortunately start to change. There are many ways you can help out. Even if you are just slightly curious – talk to a Board Member or give me a call!
I look forward to seeing everyone on the beaches, at our events and around the neighborhood!
